Thomas Keenan |
Thomas Keenan is a Professor of Psychology
in the School of General Studies, Niagara College
and adjunct faculty in the Department of Psychology,
Brock University. He completed his doctoral
studies in 1995 at the Ontario Institute For
Studies in Education/University of Toronto,
where he examined the development of theory
of mind and children's comprehension of sarcasm
and irony. In 1997 he took up a position as
a lecturer in Developmental Psychology at the
Department of Psychology, University of Canterbury
(Christchurch, New Zealand) before leaving in
2005 for Niagara College. His current research
interests are in children's developing understanding
of the mind and its role in their social development.

Subhadra
Evans |
Subhadra Evans is a Developmental Research Psychologist in the Pediatric Pain Program at the UCLA School of Medicine, Los Angeles. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Melbourne before undertaking a PhD at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand where she studied the impact of maternal chronic pain on children's psychosocial and pain development. She held a Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship at Brunel University in West London before taking up her post at UCLA. Her current research interests relate to trans-generational transmission of pain and the use of complementary and alternative medicine for pediatric pain management. |
