Louise Marston is a Research Statistician in the Department of Primary Care and Population Health, UCL. Prior to that, she spent a lot of time teaching statistics to health and nursing students at Brunel University. This book was written drawing on her experiences there, incorporating data used and collected in the course of teaching and dissertation supervision to illustrate the common statistical techniques that students are likely to use and need to be able to interpret in the course of their studies and beyond.
